Bill Gates, Microsoft supremo and one of world's richest men is a man of large heart. This is exemplified by activities of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in developing countries around the world. The Foundation "seek to unlock the possibility inside every individual" and "see equal value in all lives. And so we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals around the world. From the education of students in Chicago, to the health of a young mother in Nigeria, we are catalysts of human promise everywhere".
The Foundation in its many giant strides is funding the development of reinvention treatment of sewage under a Project called Omniprocessor - a brainchild of a Seattle based engineering firm Janicki Bioenergy. The Omniprocessor converts human faeces to drinkable water. The good news now is that the machine in now producing the expected product and the man himself - Bill Gates was there to drink the water.
The Omniprocessor project piloting is later this year in Dakar, Senegal. Kudos to Mr. Gates
