Venus and Serena Williams bullied

Russian Tennis Federation President, Shamil Tarpischev unguided reference to Tennis superstars American sisters Venus & Serena Williams as "the Williams brothers" in a chat show has landed him in trouble.

Serena Williams, one of the sisters and the Tennis World number one player described the uncomplimentary remarks as "sexist, racist and bullying".

Shamil who described his comment as a joke has been handed one year ban by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) from its tour and also fined £15,500.

This should send the message out that there is no place for racism in the world!
