Malala wins a Nobel Peace Prize 2014

Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani pupil who challenged the Taliban in her community and later became the face of  'girls' right to education' campaign globally has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 2014 jointly with Kailash Satyarthi, an India activist on children rights.

The joint winners will be entitled to the £690,000 prize.

This great achievement is a welcome booster to right of girls to quality education everywhere in the world. In one of her numerous quotations for education is "one child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world. Educations is the only solution.Education first"
