Facebook in the United States has raised the bar in the popular 'women empowerment' cause.

The United States arm of the social media organization is offering incentives to female staff members to offset the cost of freezing their eggs. The perk which comes at up to $20,000 is to encourage female employees to put getting pregnant and ultimately giving birth on hold, while they concentrate on developing their careers.

The organization claims it is women empowerment initiative with the aim of retaining and recruiting talented women in the male-dominated sector.

I guess this might be the new direction in human resourcing, as Apple Inc. is in the process of introducing the policy too in January.

Women, what do you think about your employers offering you incentives to delay having children in an attempt to keep you in their organizations?
