A big sigh of relief for parents flying with small children and airline passengers with unaccompanied minors is underway as Etihad Airways introduces Flying Nanny Service. This is to assist in the task of keeping minors relaxed while the flight lasted. The service which is free on long-haul flights only, would cater for kids and get them entertained with lots of activities.

The Airline's cabin crew have all completed training in Childcare to support the on-board child minding service. The Vice President Guest Service, Audrey Tiedt explained that "Flying Nanny role demonstrates our understanding of our guests' needs and our commitment to making the journey as relaxing and comfortable as possible." For older children, simple quizzes and challenges are all organised for them to keep them occupied.

This is a fantastic idea.. I have met a lot of airline passengers who have had stressful flights as a result of babies doing their rounds crying on flights non-stop.

Here is some respite coming from Etihad Airways!
