Many congratulations to Madonna on her new appointment as the Malawian Goodwill Ambassador on Child Welfare. This announcement was made public when President Mutharika of Malawi picked the US pop diva as the ambassador with immediate effect. Madonna whose two children (Mercy and David) are Malawian born, have deep connection to the country.
The 56 years old singer was praised for the tremendous work she has done in the country regarding her passion. In the Presidents words, "especially towards addressing poverty and hardship endured by Malawi orphans and vulnerable children through her charity Raising Malawi".
I wonder how these artists are able to keep up or balance their busy schedules,family, work, tours e.t.c. Kudos to Madonna...We love you!
