Equatorial Guinea named to host African Cup of Nations 2015
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that 2015 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Equatorial Guinea. The Game which was formerly scheduled for hosting in Morocco came to a halt due to concerns raised by Morocco on the outbreak and spread of Ebola disease. The replacement was also considered due CAF rejection of Morocco's request to delay the finals from 17th January to 8th February.
Although it is not yet clear if the country is able to play in the tournament, since the country team got disqualified but will gear up to handle all the responsibilities shouldered by a host country when given the opportunity. The 16 teams are billed to be managed between Equatorial Guinea's two major stadiums.
I hope they are prepared for this though... And sometimes you cant fault some country's decisions.
