An American judge has permitted a medical personnel to use Facebook to serve her absent husband notice of divorce.
Ellanora Baidoo said she wants to divorce the man she married in a New York civil ceremony in 2009, after failing to fulfill his promise of a Ghanaian traditional wedding ceremony but unfortunately she and her attorney Andrew Spinnell, have not been able to locate her husband whose contact is only on Facebook and phone number.
Victor Sena Blood-Dzraku and Ellanora Baidoo have both not really lived together and according to the Manhattan supreme court Justice Matthew Cooper wrote that "the post office has no forwarding address for him, there is no billing address linked to his pre-paid cellphone, and the Department of Motor Vehicles has no record of him. In as much as plaintiff is unable to find defendant, personal delivery of the summons to him is an impossibility."
Her attorney Spinnell added "She’s not looking for any money. I don’t think there is any marital property. This is a case where a woman wants to move on with her life and marry someone else potentially,"
Hehehe...What do you call this? Social or Unsocial medium? I'd really like to read Zuckerberg's mind on this.
