An executive of Google and Co-founder of Google Adventure, Dan Fredinburg has been named one of the dead victims of Nepal quake.
Dan and three other colleagues were on Everest when the quake occurred. His colleagues survived the incident. Dan's interest to take Google Street View to extreme locations led him to co-founding Google Adventure. According to an Instagram post by his sister, the experienced mounter sustained a severe head injury.
Meanwhile ,the IT giant has provided £666,000 for response management. He obviously died in active service.
Our thoughts and prayers with their families at this difficult time.
