First double hand transplants for an 8-year-old boy

Science is indeed wonderful!! Watch a little boy Zion Harvey who got hand transplants giving him quality of life.
Zion was infected with gangrene as a 2-year-old child, which led to amputation of his limbs. Early this month, the young lad became the youngest person to be a recipient of new hands. It took a team of 40 medical team(doctors and surgeons) 11 hours to carry out this medical breakthrough.

According to the lead surgeon of the team, L.Scott Levin who said 'This is a monumental step,' he added 'I hope personally we can help many more patients like Zion in the future.'

IKEA installs parking lot for dogs

IKEA ,the Swedish furniture stores have created dog parking bays where customers can leave their doggies while they take their time shopping in the store.

This is coming as an opposite to the usual sights of owners locking up their pets in the vehicles with most of them barking away for some respite.

Outside the stores in Cologne, Germany, spaces have been set up, designed and modified with artificial grass to give it a natural ambiance. It also has a water bowl and a secure place to fasten them.

I just hope they don't get clamped it the owners overstay! 'wink'

'African mix' is the best

Research team at the University of Edinburgh have established that offspring become cleverer the more apart their parents' ancestral background is.

The team led by Dr Jim Wilson analysed data from 350, 000 people before reaching this conclusion. The clever traits is highly observed in children from parents where one is of African descent and the other is non-African.
Apart from this new discovery, I think it's also very hard to miss out their gorgeous looks too.

Are you a productive Jose?

I saw this picture on Paul Coelho's Facebook page and it got me thinking. All I quickly started to look for was, I looked round for the Health and Safety manager, the safety apparatus on the lonely Jose digging, I checked for the CEO, I checked for Admin manager, is Jose well trained to dig?
Perhaps Jose might be more efficient on his job if he is able to use a digger to carry out his duties..more dignifying I would say if Jose gets promoted but it means you would have 11 people standing around looking at a shovel.
