Its a breadth of fresh air for 1,000 African entrepreneurs as Tony Elumelu's fund of $100m initiative would boost the Africa's  private sector. The 26th richest African according to Forbes rating said the entrepreneurs were the continent's "hope for the future". The Nigerian billionaire also added "The selection of these 1,000 entrepreneurs brings us closer to our ultimate goal - to drive Africa's economic and social transformation from within and to radically intensify job creation in Africa".
